Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

Last updated: May 15, 2026

Reendera is a distributed computing platform specialized in rendering 3D images and animations. We connect users who need processing power (Clients) to a global network of volunteer devices (Workers) that share their idle CPU and GPU resources.

Use of our services implies acceptance of the terms described below. We reserve the right to update these terms periodically, notifying users via our website or by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

1. Definitions

2. Client Terms

2.1 Job Submission

Submitted .blend files must be of lawful content and must not violate third-party rights. The Client declares that they own all rights to the submitted content. Reendera does not claim any ownership over the files or rendering results.

2.2 Costs and Payment

The cost of each job is calculated based on the number of work units (tiles or frames) multiplied by the unit price, which varies according to the number of samples requested. Base prices are:

The balance is deducted at the moment of job creation. If the balance is insufficient, the job will be rejected.

2.3 Cancellations and Refunds

The Client may request the cancellation of a job as long as it has not been fully processed. Tiles/frames already completed are non-refundable. In case of technical failure attributable to the platform (e.g., data loss due to infrastructure failure), the full value of the job will be refunded as account balance.

3. Worker Terms

3.1 Installation and Operation

The Reendera Worker software is distributed free of charge and installs with a single command. The worker only performs rendering tasks assigned by the central server and does not interfere with other system processes. The user can stop the execution at any time.

3.2 Resource Usage

The worker is designed to use only idle system resources. It does not alter process priorities or prevent normal computer usage. In case of overheating or performance degradation, the user should pause or stop the worker.

3.3 Compensation

Workers are credited for each valid completed work unit:

Amounts are credited to the worker's account balance after result validation. Fraudulent results, invalid images, or attempts to manipulate the system will result in contribution rejection and may lead to account suspension.

3.4 Withdrawals

Workers may request withdrawal of their balance to an Angolan bank account or partner digital wallet, subject to minimum limits and processing fees described on the dashboard page.

4. Privacy Policy

4.1 Collected Data

To provide the services, we collect:

4.2 Processing Purposes

Data is used exclusively for:

4.3 Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties, except:

4.4 Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain authenticated sessions and anonymous analytical cookies to understand usage patterns. Users can manage cookie preferences through their browser settings.

4.5 Data Subject Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Angolan legislation, the data subject has the right to:

To exercise these rights, contact privacy@reen.live.

5. Security

All communications between the worker, the client, and the central server are encrypted with TLS 1.3. .blend files are stored with restricted access and automatically deleted after the retention period. Only the job owner can download the results.

Data isolation: each job is treated in isolation. No worker has access to files from other jobs outside the scope of the task assigned to them.

6. Intellectual Property

All .blend files, textures, 3D models, and rendering results are and remain the exclusive property of the Client who submitted them. Reendera claims no right of use, reproduction, or distribution over such content. Workers only process temporary fractions of the data, not keeping local copies after task completion.

7. Limitation of Liability

Reendera is provided "as is". We offer no warranties regarding job completion time, as this depends on the number of active workers and the complexity of the scene. We are not liable for:

8. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Substantial changes will be communicated via website notice and/or email with at least 15 days' notice. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes tacit acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Angola. Any disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Luanda, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
